Dear CPEA Members and Friends:

You and your family are cordially invited to the mid-Summer picnic and free health seminar on July 3rd.
Kids are off that day and so are many of the parents. Why don’t you join us for a “healthy” picnic?
CPEA, in coordination with Greater Cleveland Chinese Medical Doctors, will kick off a series of health seminars to benefit local Chinese communities.

The topics for the first seminar will cover the following:

general health care for healthy adults, sub-health conditions, managing chronic disorders, the importance of family doctor system, what routine examinations should be done, free care for people with no health insurance (e.g., visiting parents).

The speakers, accompanied by a few local practicing physicians as panelists, will be:
1. Dr. Li Li, MD, PhD associate professor of family medicine at University Hospital Case Medical Center, Associate Director, Case Comprehensive Cancer Center

2. Dr. Yong Chen, MD, Internal Medicine, CCF
Time: July 3rd, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Agenda:
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Free health seminar in the class rooms. The first hour will be lecture/presentations by the speakers, followed by an hour of Q&A, private consultation with small groups of physicians, etc.
Kids can play outside and playgrounds with organized games, such as soccer, base balls.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Potluck. CPEA will provide pizza for the kids, deserts, drinks, plates. Please bring your favorite dishes to share with others.
